Joaquin Sorolla & the Glory of Spanish Dress Exhibit

This spectacular exhibit, cited as “one of the most chic pairing of clothes and paintings,” highlights the history of Spanish traditional clothing styles though the eyes of Valencian painter, Joaquin Sorolla. Conceived by Oscar de la Renta, one of the world’s most famous fashion designers, it features more than 10 paintings and over 30 rare examples of men and women’s clothing styles and accessories from 11 regions of Spain. The exhibit also includes a selection of clothing from designers like Balenciaga, YSL, Christian Lacroix and others.
