1972, a very good year


I loved those earrings. My parents bought them for me during one of their trips to Venezuela.

I can see the beginning of the development of my marionette lines in this photo. And, I did not complete the eyeliner under my right eye. My hair was naturally dark and much straighter. And, a frosted pink lipstick completed the look.

I love the photo because it reminds me of the glorious days during the 1970s in this building. The photo was taken by an upstairs neighbor (not Fred P.) whose hobby was photography. She would shlep me around Manhattan and create "reality films" of my adventures all over the city.

Those were great times in a very different, less congested, and quieter New York City.
