Kazimierz Dolny, Poland

Yidl Mitn Fidl (Yiddle With His Fiddle) is a 1936 Yiddish Film starring Molly Picon. It was filmed in Kazimierz Dolny. The wedding guests were Jewish inhabitants of Kazimierz Dolny. Most of them had never seen a film and they thought they were attending a real wedding. Almost all of them died a few years later in the Holocaust. 

As I write this, I wonder with great sadness if families one day long ago were forced to leave from these homes and never returned.
