UPDATE: I was unable to attend... day ran late.
I shall be attending: "The Figure of Orpheus in Poetry and Performance, 1910 - 2010" which is described as "in honor of Lincoln Center's 50th Anniversary and the Poetry Society of America's 100th Anniversary, an event celebrating the figure of Orpheus mythologized in poetry as well as dance, music, and film. The program includes poets John Ashbery and Mark Strand; actors Maria Tucci and Chandler Williams." Pianist Paul Barnes will perform his transcription of Philip Glass's new opera, "Orphee."
It is co-sponsored by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center."
Are my interests Mensa-worthy or what?
