Pitt Street, 2008
The top photo shows Our Lady of Sorrows Church. The church was built from 1867-68 based on the designs by Henry Engelbert. He combined Victorian, Byzantine, and Romanesque styles, and the church opened on September 6, 1868.
The next picture shows the old PS 4. It can be seen in the center of the photo. It stood on Pitt Street at Rivington Street and it was further south nearer to Delancy Street. The building has been gutted and only the facade remains. It is now an apartment house.
