I adore travel, and since my retirement I have traveled quite a bit within the United States. However, it has been years since I have traveled abroad. I found some old photos of me when I was in Madrid, Lisbon, Paris, and Rome. The blonde in the third photo from the top is Barbara, the friend with whom I traveled that summer. She is now a grandmother.
So, I am strongly considering the Tauck "Classic Italy" tour for the fall... which includes Naples, Rome, Tuscany, Florence, and Venice. It is about $6,000, but retirement is about enjoying life. So, bon voyage, or should I say arrivederci.
Now, dinner!
