Tonight, I dined at Gramercy Tavern. I had: spinach salad, followed by sea bass, and for dessert... slow roasted apples. Yum, to the 10th power!
It is a nasty, dreary, and rainy night in the Big Apple. My doorman told me that while I was out my friend Ira stopped by. Ira dropped off several books. So, off I go to get started on Jack Kerouac's "Windblown World." And tomorrow: The Morgan Library! I love Manhattan. There is always so much to do and so many creative and interesting ways to fill days in retirement.
